Serious Talk About Roofs

Do you know how old your roof is?
If it’s 10 years old or older, be prepared.

Insurance companies in Colorado are taking a hard line on what they will insure.
This will absolutely come up if you sell your home. Even if you’re not selling, you may get a nasty-gram from your insurance company saying they will drop you unless you replace your roof.

If your roof is 10 years old or older, and you’re going to sell your home,
it’s likely that the buyer won’t be able to get full coverage without the roof being replaced.
Guess who’s covering the bill?! Very likely, the seller.

If your roof is 10 years old or older, these will be your two options.
Option 1: Replace the roof (paying cash/credit) to get full coverage on your roof.
Option 2: Don’t replace the roof and the insurance company will only pay a small percentage, if anything, for a roof claim.

Considering that a roof can cost anywhere from $15,000 – $50,000+,
this is not something you want to ignore.

In addition to your insurance agent, you’ve got to have a good roofer ready to help.
I’ve been recommending Golden Sky Roofing for years now.
They are honest, ethical and never cut corners.
Those things are RARE in the roofing world.

If you would like to have someone take a look at your roof,
please contact Steven and let him know I sent you.
