Awful year for new home builders
I saw this article in the Denver Post and wanted to share it. Yes, it's true that home builders create jobs and pay taxes, but it's also true that the downturn in new home sales can be a good thing for you.
1. If you're selling your home, there are fewer new homes to take potential buyers away from your home.
2. Home builders might be more apt to negotiate the price of a new home, resulting in a good deal for you!
