Terrifying Glass Bridge

If hanging off the side of a mountain is your idea of fun, then we suggest China’s latest tourist attraction. A 328-foot-long glass walkway—fittingly called the Coiling Dragon Cliff—allows visitors to walk along a suspended path at the top of Tianmen Mountain in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Located in the southern province of Hunan, this vertigo-inducing platform is only 5.24 feet wide and overlooks Tongtian Avenue—the iconic mountain road that boasts 99 spiral turns. Suspended 4,600 feet in the air, the walkway is definitely not for the faint of heart. (courtesy of Architectural Digest)
